Summons and Bail for Parastoo Alahyari and Aliyeh Motalebzadeh

Feminist School: Parastoo Allahyari,member of campaign for one million signatures ,was interrogated twice in one day on December 7,2008 and then was issued with condition of $50,000 bail.

she had gone to the revolutionary court with her lawyer Zohreh Arzani as Parastoo was charged for acting against the state. Parastoo’s home was searched and her personal belongings were confiscated on 18th of October 2008.

Aliyeh Motalebzadeh is one of the nine who were arrested on the national day of solidarity of Iranian women (June 12,2008)she was summoned to the revolutionary court on December 4,2008 and she was charged for disturbing public order and disobeying the official orders and then was issued with condition of $50,000 bail.

Motalebzadeh has clarified that : She only visited the gallery on that day without noticing that it was the day of solidarity and has no intention of participating in any commemoration and hence I have been ordered to pay bail for $50,000.

Her lawyer Mina Jafari was not allowed to be present at the hearing.
