She was summoned because of peaceful gathering against discriminatory laws on June 12 2006.

Cases: Reasons for Arrests (the second case)
whilst she was at court being prosecuting for involvement with the June 12 2006 demonstration with 3 other activists. Her friends in front of the court were being arrested hence she left the court to defend her activist friends and she was arrested too on Mrach 4 2007.

c) Latest elaboration of the case:
For the first case: The first ruling was issued on April 24 2007 by branch no. six of revolutionary court to 3 years imprisonment the court has suspended two and a half years of the sentence. Leaving to serve six months in prison for collusion and assembly to endanger the national security (according to article 610 Islamic penal code)
For the second case: she was arrested during silent protest in front of the Islamic revolutionary court in Tehran on March 4 2007 with 32 other activists her court was held for collusion and assembly to endanger the national security and disturbing public order and disobeying the orders of official in branch no 13 of revolutionary court but the ruling is not issued yet.
For the third case: On 9 June, lawyer Farideh Gheirat was informed that her client, the feminist journalist Noushin Ahmadi Khorasani, had been handed a one-year suspended prison sentence by the 26th chamber of the Tehran revolutionary court.
Noushin Ahmadi Khorasani was released on 22 September 2010 after she appeared before the Evin Prison Court â€œto provide some explanations,â€ and was informed of her charges. Khorasani was interrogated when she first appeared in court on Tuesday following a summons, and was asked to return the next day to meet with â€œcase analysts.â€ On 23 September, she was informed of her charges of â€œpropagation activities against the regime through: a) writing and publishing content against the regime on the Feminist School website, and b) participation in the illegal gatherings after the 2009 elections,â€ . After being informed of her charges, Khorasani defended herself and she was released to a custodian. She was released until her trial date. Noushin Ahmadi Khorasaniâ€™s trial was held on 11 March 2012 in Branch 26 of the Islamic revolutionary court.On 9 June 2012, Noushin Ahmadi Khorasani, womenâ€™s rights activist and one of the founders of the One Million Signatures Campaign, was sentenced to one yearâ€™s suspended imprisonment and five years of probation.
